OPINION OF THE COURT

JOHNSON, Senior Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, the appellant was convicted by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members of two specifications of rape, in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 920 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ]. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for fifteen years, forfeiture of $624.20 pay per month for 180 months, and reduction to Private El.
