On October 30, 1945, a petition signed by a majority of the voters of Burrows joint consolidated school district No. 30, located partly in Stephens county and partly in Garvin county, was filed with the county superintendent of Stephens county asking that an election be called to determine whether that school district should be annexed to Doyle consolidated school district No. C-47 of Stephens county.
