In 2012, fifteen-year-old Eric Pratt was struck and killed by an Amtrak passenger train while walking across railroad tracks near his home in Vemon, Vermont. Eric’s estate brings this action alleging negligence by the railroad, the owner of the tracks, the train’s conductor, and its engineer. The Defendants have moved for summary judgment on all claims.
