Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Cowhey, J.), rendered September 24, 1984, convicting him of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
On appeal the defendant raises two issues. The first is that newly discovered evidence requires that he be granted a new trial and the second is that he had ineffective assistance of counsel in locating potential witnesses and evidence which might have been helpful at his trial.
