Doubtless the decision filed was in virtue of section 1022 of the Code of Civil Procedure, which authorizes the court to “ state separately the facts found and the conclusions of law, and direct the judgment to be entered thereon, or the court or referee may file a decision stating concisely the grounds upon which the issues have *432been decided, and direct the judgment to be entered thereon, which decision so filed shall form part of the judgment roll.” It. seems that the trial judge assumed to follow the second provision of this section of the Code.
