ECKERSTROM, Presiding Judge.

¶ 1 Appellant Gary Cox was convicted after a jury trial of three counts of possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited possessor, class four felonies. After finding Cox had six prior felony convictions, the court sentenced him to substantially mitigated, concurrent prison terms of six years. On appeal, Cox challenges his convictions on the grounds that the evidence was insufficient to support the conviction, the trial court erred when it refused Cox’s requested instruction under State v.
