MAIN, Justice.

Noland Hospital Montgomery, LLC (“NHM”), a defendant in a wrongful-death action alleging medical negligence, petitions this Court for a writ of mandamus directing the Montgomery Circuit Court to vacate its order denying NHM’s motion for a summary judgment and to enter a summary judgment in NHM’s favor. NHM contends that it is entitled to a summary judgment on the basis that the applicable statute of limitations for this wrongful-death action, § 6-5-410, Ala.
