OPINION
JACOBSON, Presiding Judge.
Two questions are presented for resolution in this appeal:(1) Whether statements made by the appellant should have been excluded at the trial; and(2) Whether the evidence presented supports a conviction for- voluntary manslaughter.
The facts necessary to this appeal are as follows. On the night of January 7, 1973, the appellant and his wife had been drinking with some friends.
