|, This is a criminal appeal. The defendant, Tre Clements, seeks reversal of his conviction for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon pursuant to La. R.S. 14:95.1. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

On February 23, 2011, Mr. Clements was charged by bill of information with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. On March 1, 2011, Mr. Clements pled not guilty at his arraignment.
