¶ 1 In this divorce action, appellant, Donna J. Taper (‘Wife”), appeals from the trial court’s equitable distribution order and entry of the divorce decree, divorcing Wife from Edward T. Taper (“Husband”).

¶ 2 The facts which led to this instant action are as follows. On June 15, 2001, Husband filed a divorce complaint. Thereafter, several pretrial conferences were held between the parties, but no settlement could be reached.
