The plaintiff, Larry Welch, appeals from an order of the circuit court of Cook County granting a directed verdict in favor of the defendants, Ro-Mark, Inc. (hereinafter Ro-Mark), and William Hagstrom (hereinafter Hagstrom), after a judgment for the plaintiff. The plaintiff initially argues on appeal that the trial court erroneously granted the defendants’ reserved motion for a directed verdict after judgment pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Practice Act.
