This is an application for a peremptory writ of mandamus, requiring the defendants, as the board of water commissioners of the village of Forestville, H. Y., to extend the mains of the waterworks system in that village to a point in front of the residence of this relator. The village of Forestville was organized many years ago under the provisions of the General Village Law.
