At the April term, 1915,- of the superior court of Mitchell county T. TJ. Cox was' convicted of voluntary manslaughter, the honorable W. E. Thomas, judge of the superior courts of the Southern circuit, presiding on account of the disqualification of Judge E. E. Cox of the superior court of that county. A motion for a new trial was overruled by Judge Thomas, and his judgment was thereafter affirmed ty this court (17 Ga. App. 727, 88 S.
