CHOATE, Senior District Judge:
This private antitrust action was brought by John J. Terrell against the Household Goods Carriers’ Bureau and ten of its individual members,1 claiming that the Bureau and certain of its members conspired with Rand McNally and Company2 to restrain and monopolize commerce in violation of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1 and 2. A jury found for Terrell and awarded $375,000 in damages (trebled to $1,-125,000).
