Eddie Robison, an appellee in this Workers’ Compensation case, was employed by Ayers Furniture Company for approximately eighteen years. While in the employ of Ayers Furniture on May 22, 1980, Robison sustained a back injury while lifting a fifty-five gallon barrel of glue. As a result of that injury, Robison underwent surgery by Dr. Dulligan, who assigned him a fifteen percent permanent partial impairment rating on January 22,1981.
