¶1 The trial court summarily granted judgment to Raymond and Lisa Banuelos (buyers) against TSA Washington, Inc., d/b/a Hertz Car Sales (Hertz), under RCW 46.70.180(4)(a), Washington’s “bushing” law, for its Yakima dealer’s failure to return the buyers’ $1,000 down payment check and trade-in within three days. The court awarded $4.27 damages, $12.81 trebled damages under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), chapter 19.86 RCW, and $90,125.00 for attorney fees.
