This is a suit for damages growing out of a head-on collision between two automobiles on the paved highway between Alexandria and Shreveport. On the night of December 22, 1931, at about 11 o'clock, Marvin J. Baden, husband of the plaintiff, in company with R. L. Davis and H. A. Todd, was driving a Ford roadster automobile from a point south of Alexandria to his home in Shreveport, by way of United States highway No. 71.
