The question presented in this case is whether a judgment obtained by plaintiff against defendants was dischargeable in bankruptcy.
October 16, 1940, plaintiff was awarded judgment against defendants. March 23, 1943, defendants were adjudged bankrupt and received their discharge July 13, 1943. May 25, 1944, plaintiff obtained a writ of garnishment based on the judgment and directed to the Lake Washington Shipyards, Inc. June 2, 1944, defendants filed a motion to quash the writ on the ground that the debt and judgment had been canceled by their discharge in bankruptcy. Plaintiff answered the…
