Second degree murder; sentence: seventy-five years.

The appellant, Osker Yoemans, came to the home of his father and step-mother, Lee and Addie Yoemans, around 1:30 A.M. on July 24, 1973. He beat on the door and demanded entrance. His purported common-law wife Faye had left him on July 18, 1973, and had moved in with his brother, James Yoemans, and they were staying at the home of the father and the stepmother.
