MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

KEADY, Chief Judge.

This suit was instituted on January 22, 1979, by plaintiff Will Jordan as a class action against defendant Lewis Grocer Company (Lewis), alleging discriminatory discharge of plaintiff because of his race and a general policy and practice of racial discrimination by Lewis in its employment practices, including hiring, discharging, promotion and all other terms and conditions of employment.
