The hill in this case was filed September 24th, 1859, to foreclose a mortgage executed by defendants, Hill and wife and Blackmar and wife, to Enos Goodrich and Reuben Goodrich, on the undivided half of a steam saw mill and lot, dated April 1st, 1S5Í, for fifteen hundred dollars, payable in three equal annual instalments, with interest annually. The mortgaged premises were conveyed to the mortgagors by the mortgagees for the price of three thousand dollars, of which fifteen hundred dollars were paid down and the mortgage given for the balance.
