MEMORANDUM DECISION ON DEBTOR’S MOTION TO REDEEM COLLATERAL
MICHAEL G. WILLIAMSON, Bankruptcy Judge.
In a case under chapter 7 in which the debtor is an individual, the debtor has the right under section 722 of the Bankruptcy Code to redeem exempt tangible personal property from a lien by paying the holder of such lien the amount of the allowed secured claim that is secured by such lien.
