Defendant Travis S. Flanagan was found guilty by a jury of criminal attempt to commit burglary and possession of tools for the commission of a crime. He appeals following the denial of his motion for new trial.
1. Flanagan first contends the trial court erred by rejecting his claim under Batson v. Kentucky, 476 U. S. 79 (106 SC 1712, 90 LE2d 69) (1986), that the State exercised its peremptory strikes in a racially discriminatory manner during jury selection.
