This is an appeal from a judgment of the Appellate Court for the Second District affirming a judgment of the circuit court of Will county for $6000 in favor of appellee, in a suit brought to recover damages for an injury she is alleged to have received while leaving one of appellant’s cars in the city of Joliet. The evidence introduced by appellee tended to show that the car was stopped for the purpose of allowing passengers to alight, and that while she was attempting to leave the car it was suddenly and violently started forward without notice or warning, thereby throwing her to the…
