The Board of Supervisors of Arlington County appeals from a decision and order of the State Corporation Commission entered on December 30, 1953, authorizing the Virginia Electric and Power Company, a public service corporation engaged in supplying electricity for heat, light and power, to increase its rates and charges for service rendered by it in this State. National Utility Service, Inc., representing certain commercial consumers of electric energy, also filed a petition for an appeal, which it subsequently withdrew.
