hThe defendant, T.P.M., appeals from a trial court judgment terminating his parental rights to his two children, C.M.M. and A.R.M. For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTS

When this matter arose, the children’s mother was a drug abuser and T.P.M. was incarcerated on domestic violence charges for battering her. The battery occurred in the presence of the children. He had previously served time on a drug offense. In March 2003, the mother sent the children to stay with their uncle, the defendant’s brother.
