*349The parties, both attorneys, were married in January 1991. In October of the same year, they had a son. The husband was the father of four children by a prior marriage, which ended in divorce in 1990. The wife, who had graduated from law school in 1979, worked as an associate at a large New York City law firm for six years. She then left private practice and began to work in house at the Walt Disney Company (Disney).
