City of Griffin v. Jackson
Court of Appeals of Georgia
1Opinion of the Court
Ruffin, Judge.
Laurenda Jackson sued the City of Griffin for injuries she allegedly sustained when her automobile collided with a police vehicle driven by Officer Kenneth English of the Griffin Police Department. The trial court struck the city’s answer as a discovery sanction for failing to produce certain photographs the city had taken of the scene of the collision. The city appeals, contending that there was no evidence of wilfulness and that the trial court erred in requiring it to pay for certain depositions taken in an attempt to locate the photographs. We affirm.
