The defendant, Farmers Insurance Exchange (Farmers), appeals from the judgment entered on a jury verdict which awarded its insured, plaintiff Sandra 0. Bernhard, damages for Farmers’ bad faith refusal to settle a personal injury tort claim asserted by third parties against the insured and from the court’s post-verdict award of attorney fees to the insured.
