This landlord-tenant dispute presents questions of this court’s jurisdiction of the tenant’s appeal, the liability of a landlord for the negligence of an independent contractor and the waiver of alleged defects in the tenant’s pleadings and court’s charge. In the trial court, the landlord, Robbie Damron, individually and as independent executrix of the estate of Joe S. Damron, recovered judgment against the tenant, C. R.
