This action was brought by plaintiff in error, Green, against J. H. Keller and Luther Keeney to recover on two promissory notes. For his first cause of action the plaintiff alleged that on the 19th day of February, 1889, Franklin Sloyer and J. M. Sloyer made, executed and delivered- their certain promissory note in writing to Luther Keeney, whereby they promised to pay to Luther Keeney or order, on December 1, 1889, the sum of $262.50, with interest; that before" maturity J. PI. Keller guaranteed the payment of the note by his indorsement…
