COZORT, Judge.

The North Carolina State Bar filed a complaint alleging that the defendant violated Rule 4 of the Rules of Professional Conduct of the North Carolina State Bar. The State Bar subsequently moved to amend its complaint to allege that the defendant also violated Rule 1.2(D) of the Rules of Professional Conduct. A Hearing Committee of the Disciplinary Hearing Commission (the Committee) found in substance that the defendant had committed the acts alleged in the complaint and concluded that the defendant violated Rule 1.2(D).
