Pabst's Brewing Co. v. Rapid Safety Filter Co.

This is an action brought to recover a chattel and in which the plaintiff issued to the sheriff a requisition to replevy the chattel in question and, pursuant to statute in such cases made and provided, gave the necessary undertaking therefor.

Pursuant to such requisition, plaintiff, through the sheriff, obtained possession of the chattel in question, which consisted of an automobile, the defendant having failed to rebond, and the automobile was in due time delivered to the plaintiff in the action.
