In this appeal, husband, Marlyn Drikow, appeals an order from the Circuit Court for St. Louis County dissolving his twenty-eight year marriage to wife, Dorothy Dri-kow. Husband alleges that the circuit court erred in not awarding him certain property as his separate property, in its valuation of his business, and in awarding maintenance to wife. We affirm in part and reverse in part.

Husband and wife were married on April 29, 1961. Four children were born of the marriage. At the time of the trial court’s order, the ages of the children ranged from 17 to 26.…
