First Union National Bank v. Woermer
Connecticut Appellate Court
1Opinion of the Court
Opinion
McLACHLAN, J.
The defendants William S. Woermer and Charlotte P. Woermer1 appeal from the judgment of strict foreclosure rendered in favor of the substitute *698plaintiff, EMC Mortgage Corporation.2 The defendants claim that the trial court improperly (1) continued to exercise jurisdiction over the action after it failed to render judgment within 120 days of the filing of posttrial briefs and (2) admitted into evidence two of the plaintiffs exhibits that were submitted to establish the principal amount of the debt. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
