This is a suit by appellees to recover damages for injuries to cattle shipped by appellees over the defendant railroads from Camptown, Tex., to Fort Worth, Tex.
The following sufficient summary of the allegations of the petition is copied from appellees' brief:
"It was alleged that appellees (plaintiffs below) delivered the cattle to the initial carrier about 1 P. M. on November 21 1925, and that they were fat beef cattle ready for immediate slaughter, and that defendants were under the duty to handle them with ordinary care, and deliver them within a reasonable time, alleged to be 24 hours.…
