—In a proceeding pursuant to General Municipal Law § 50-e for leave to serve a late notice of claim, the appeal is from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Huttner, J.), entered April 16, 1991, which granted the application.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The infant petitioner, by her mother, alleged that on February 3, 1990, she was severely burned when her right leg became wedged against an exposed, extremely hot steampipe in her apartment in the Eleanor Roosevelt Houses, Kings County, which are owned and managed by the appellant.
