Plaintiff Maritza Martinez alleges that her former employer, Ketchum Advertising Company, 1 discriminated against her on the basis of sex, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (1982), and the New York State Human Rights Law, N.Y.Exec.Law § 291 et seq. (the “Human Rights Law” or “HRL”).
