Complaint by the appellant against the appellee, stating, in substance, the following facts, viz.: That the estate of Julius Woodford, deceased, was justly indebted to the plaintiff in the sum of 500 dollars, for money laid out, expended, and advanced for the use and benefit of said estate, in this, that in the lifetime of said Julius, to-wit, on the 15th of October, 1842, the said Julius sold and conveyed to the plaintiff, by deed of general warranty, certain real estate lying in Crawford county, and covenanted that he and his heirs would forever warrant and defend the premises to the…
