Appellee sued appellant to recover assessments for street improvements made in front of appellant’s property, and to have them declared a lien upon said property, in the city of Evansville. The complaint was in two paragraphs; appellant demurred to each separately; demurrers overruled, and appellant answered in two paragraphs; *543demurrer sustained to the second, the first being a denial; trial by court and finding for appellee; motion for a new trial overruled, and judgment on' the finding; exceptions were properly reserved to each of these rulings.
