The Act of July 1, 1909 (J. & A. If 611) gives attorneys at law a lien upon all causes of action, including claims for unliquidated damages, placed in their hands by their clients for suit or collection, for the amount of any fee agreed upon between such attorneys and their clients, or in the absence of such agreement, for a reasonable fee for the services rendered or to be rendered on account of such causes of action, provided the attorneys shall serve notice in writing on the party against whom their clients have such causes of action, claiming such lien, stating therein the interest they…
