This is an action of assumpsit on two promissory notes. The first is for $1,106.12, dated at New York, December 28, 1886, and made payable to the order of William E. Dodge & Son, twelve months after date. The second is for $200, dated at Baltimore, Md., January 27, 1887, and also made payable to the order of William E. Dodge & Son, four months after date, with interest at six per cent, per annum.
