Appellee and her husband having procured tickets entitling them to be carried from Quincy, in this State, to Kansas City, in Missouri, took seats in the waiting room at the Quincy depot some minutes before the time fixed for the departure of appellant’s train. She introduced evidence, upon the trial, to the effect that after they had been seated thus for a brief time, the conductor of appellant’s train entered the waiting room and publicly announced that appellant’s train for Kansas City was ready for departure; that thereupon appellee and her husband, and a number of other persons, arose and…
