This is an action brought by the receiver of the Farmers State Bank of Bridger, Montana, to recover of the defendant as a stockholder of the 'bank an amount equal to the amount of his stock, alleged to be due under a statute imposing a liability to that extent, in addition to the amount invested in the stock, upon the stockholders of a banking corporation, severally and individually, for all contracts, debts and engagements of the corporation.
