This action was brought against Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company and Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company to recover damages on account of injuries received by John Copeland at Omaha on October 4, 1917, while he and Charles Smith were attempting to open a sliding door on the side of a box car for the purpose of unloading a shipment of automobiles contained in it.
