Let it be clearly understood that I recognize that the general rule of force in most jurisdictions is that, for the payment of .an amount less than the claim to constitute an accord and satisfaction, it is essential that there exist a dispute as to the correctness of the claim, or that there be some other consideration flowing to the creditor for his waiver of the balance of his claim.
