This case involves the construction and interpretation of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure. The principal point on appeal is whether under ARCP Rule 41(a) a trial court may grant a request for voluntary non-suit where the trial court has announced its decision to grant the defendants’ motions for summary judgment but the order has not been entered. We hold the granting of a voluntary nonsuit after final submission of the case is within the trial court’s discretion.
