This matter is before the Court on the first and second interim applications for fees and expenses filed by Rice, Hoppner, Brown & Brunner (“Rice, Hoppner”), attorneys for the debtor-in-possession. The first interim application was objected to by an unsecured creditor, Willner’s Fuel Distributors, Inc. (“Willner”) on the basis that the hourly rates being charged by Rice, Hoppner are unreasonable and that Rice, Hoppner is entitled to pre-petition fees only for preparing and filing the petition, and for preparing the schedules and statements.
