BOB McCOY, Justice.
I. Introduction
In three issues, Appellant Dwayne Anthony James appeals from his conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. We affirm.

Background
James and Christopher Spain worked for Rude Boy Entertainment. Omololu Akinlolu (Omar), a rapper, testified that Rude Boy Entertainment had not paid him the $2,000 it owed him for his songs, so he contacted James on September 17, 2008, and Spain on September 18, 2008. Spain informed Omar that Rude Boy Entertainment executive Andrew Schuster was nearby and would deliver partial payment.…
