Anthony Brown (“Father”) appeals from the trial court’s judgment awarding guardian ad litem fees to Christine Miller Hendrix in association with preparing and filing a brief in Father’s previous appeal from a judgment in post-dissolution child custody proceedings between Karen Brown (“Mother”) and Father. Father asserts in this appeal that a guardian ad litem appointed for trial court proceedings has no legal authority to participate in an appeal from that court’s judgment and that, if such authority did exist, Ms. Hendrix’s claimed fees were not supported by substantial evidence.
